I love pasties and amazing coffee, so one of my favorite places to go is amelies French bakery. The ambience is always very unique and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The decor is super cool, it makes you want to keep coming back. My favorites are the salted carmel brownie and the macarons, these are must haves every time I visit. Their coffee is from pure intentions, a fantastic local roastery, so make sure you get a coffee or espresso drink too.
Wonderful place to go but sure wish it was not quite so loud inside but we enjoyed eating outside since could hear each other better but did have a few flies flying around us the whole time. The food is very good.
I have had Amelie's a few times. The most recent time, I tried an iced pistachio latte with almond milk. The coffee tasted good but was overly sweet. The almond milk they used had great flavor, bringing out the pistachio flavor. I went with a friend who got a twice-baked almond croissant. The barista originally set the croissant down and it slid off the plate. He immediately got her a new one. Overall great customer service. This specific Amelie's has a great mix of indoor and outdoor seating. It is perfect if you want to go with friends or have a relaxed time. I think Amelie's in a Charlotte staple and this location is great!
Croissant was awesome but on the small side. Loved the eclectic, whimsical atmosphere. Coffee was delicious. A few less body piercings on the counter staff would have been more appetizing.
A really nice bakery restaurant off Park Rd, it's back behind Michael's. Got the broccoli cheddar soup because it was a soup kind of day, it was just okay nothing to write home about. Also got the French Dip, which was pretty good. Obviously the bread was top notch, and the roast beef was pretty good too. The au jus was flavorful and not too salty. I was a bit disappointed in the size of the sandwich for almost $11, but it is to be expected anymore I guess, post-pandemic no bargains are safe anymore Got a couple of small pecan tartlets for later on, we'll see how they are. I was kind of hoping that in the tradition of about every sandwich-serving boulangerie in France they'd have a jamon et buerre sandwich which would have been spectacular. Probably one of the best simple sandwiches ever invented. How about it Amelie?
Amélie's French Bakery & Café is a charming traditional French-style bakery offering a variety of sweet treats. Since I had not visited this place in a long time, I was rather eager to get a few sweet goodies. We purchased two of the baked products because it was really difficult to choose just one: the pecan tart to-go and the strawberry cream cheese Danish. The staff is friendly and helpful, suggesting we warm our tart for 5 minutes (and the suggestion didn't disappoint). Amélie's French Bakery & Café offers a diverse menu, including sandwiches, soups, coffees, and teas. The unique and quirky atmosphere is reminiscent of Paris, with a focus on creativity and thought in the decor. It's a must-visit for those in the area.
Fast service Friendly atmosphere with amazing giant macaroons! I really enjoyed my lavender latte with oat milk! Amazing!
I love that this location is conveniently located right next to so many great shops. The handful of times I've visited, it hasn't been too crowded or busy and the wait time in line was minimal. We enjoyed some items for brunch during this visit and the wait for the food was a little long, but the food was delicious. The buffalo mozzarella tartine packs a great flavor. It reminds me of buffalo dip, as there is a cream cheesy type mixture underneath a layer of melted mozzarella. It seemed a bit light on the actual chicken, but still very tasty. The quiche Lorraine was a huge serving and it was very satisfying. Probably one of the best quiches I've had in taste and texture. The highlight of this visit was most definitely the desserts. We chose a few items to take home but I enjoyed the spiced apple entremet there and it was phenomenal! It was like if a cheesecake and an apple pie had a baby. I was honestly blown away. I find that you pretty much can't ever go wrong with anything from their bakery.
